Beach Party - Pot Luck Chowder

Gerry and Pat Peer have graciously offered the use of their beach on beautiful Kennebecasis Island for a pot luck chowder social. Chowder will be served at the Maritimesupper hour—5:00PM.
There is great anchorage off their beach.
What to bring: Your share of the chowder - follow exactly the recipe below and bring enough chowder for everyone in your crew, also bring snacks to share. Rolls will be provided.
Activities: Campfire on beach, swimming, field for outdoor games, photo stirring chowder with an oar.
Chowder Recipe (please follow exactly; no substitutions or additives) make chowder according to recipe for allergy reasons
1 can clams (save the juice)
1 can evaporated milk
½ onion (chopped)
1 large potato (chopped)
1 tbsp margarine
Sauté onion in margarine. Add chopped potato and sauté one minute. Add juice from clams and sauté until onion and potato are cooked. Add clams and evaporated milk at the end.
Place chowder in container to bring to the beach!
Note: This recipe is for 2 people therefore double or triple according to the size of your crew.
